St.Helen's Art Fair: 1234 Prestone Dr. Orléans, ON

After submitting my application, can I substitute artwork?

Yes, if, after you submit your application listing the art work you intend to exhibit at the Art Fair, you decide to change one or more pieces, please send an email to sthelensartfair@gmail.com with the names of the art you would like to replace and the photos and information for the new art pieces.

Can I sell prints of my own art work?

Yes, you can exhibit and sell prints as long as they are prints of your original work and identified as such.

Can I sell Greeting cards or similar small items?

Yes, and like prints, greeting cards must be copies of your original work and identified as such. Rather than the $5 entry fee and 20% commission on each card, the $5 entry fee will be charged for a batch of greeting cards and the commission will be based on the total of your greeting card sales.

The payment process for cards will be the same as for other artwork, as outlined on the website.

A “batch” is not defined as any specific number of items but they should be of the same kind (eg 6 small paintings, 12 gift cards). For more information, please view this clarification.

Can I participate if I am not a member of St. Helen’s Anglican Parish?

Yes, the Art Fair is open to all artists living in the eastern part of the greater Ottawa area (including Cumberland, Clarence-Rockland) or those connected with an east-Ottawa arts association. Members of St. Helen’s Parish are being invited regardless of where they live.

What happens if the COVID situation worsens and restrictions are placed on in-person events?

Should the COVID situation worsen, a decision will be made in February, 2024, to revert to a virtual Art Fair. The website will be changed to allow the pre-purchase of art with sold art being paid for and pickup on Saturday, June 1st, at St. Helen’s church. Notice will be made on our Facebook page.
